Nothing to be afraid of, and many prefer th live under one.
The Conditions, Covenants, and Restrictions (CC&R's) create a uniformity which helps maintain property values, and at times can eliminate certain things that neighbors do which irritate other neighbors, such a common problems like baketball hoops left in street, Long term RV parking, landscape issues, home painting, additions which may detract from the appearance of the neighborhood, etc.

Homeowners' Golf Tournament

Nancy and Gary Frimann are this years Golf Committee's directors and are please to announe that the Fourth Annual Homeowners' Golf Tournament will be held this year on Sunday, September 14,2008. It will be a shotgun tournament with a tee off time at 1:00.
Volunteers are needed. There will be a dinner afterwards, and this is a great opportunity to meet you neighbors.

I thought this might be of interest to Eagle Ridge residents!

Effective January 1, 2008, SB 528 requires that when common interest subdivisions managed by a homeowners' association schedule open meetings, a mandatory meeting notice must be provided at least four days prior to the meeting and it must include not only the time and place of the meeting but also the agenda for the meeting. Unless it is an emergency meeting, the board of directors can only discuss items on that agenda. The law does contain a few exceptions; for example, non-agenda items may be discussed if a non-board member wants to address such an item. In addition, board members can provide resources to managing agents, can request a report from a managing agent and can direct a managing agent to perform administrative tasks unrelated to agenda items, and by a two thirds vote of board members the board can determine that a non-agenda issue can be discussed as long as it is an emergency issue which could not have been included in the original agenda.

There was a comment made on the Eagle Ridge Community on Yahoo! about someone who lost or found a cat, and it was unusually cold out. I encourage everyone to post a picture of their pet on my community webiste that I sponsor, and it is free! Just visit the website and click on "Neighborhood Pictures" on the left side, and post a picture of your pet. It may help you in recovering your pet. and as I mentioned, it is a free service. Takes proabably less than a minute to do.
